Stupid people only care about themselves
So this girl was talking to me today about how she wants to have a party for my best friend because he is going away this summer for basic training and will not be back tell November. My friend and this girl were at one point close friends but as senior year has gone on they slowly slipped away and they don’t talk much anymore. Which bring me to the point of why would she want to through a party for him? What I think is that all she want to do is get drunk not celebrate the final days with him tell November!!! She acts all sad that he is going to leave but she never speaks to him, mainly because she was best friends with his girlfriend and they had a falling out. She has no emotional attachment to him anymore, they haven’t hung out in month. Him leaving will not affect her at all, but me on the other it will affect a lot, you try losing your best friends for 6 months. She looks at him leaving as another way she can get super drunk not as it should be, to wish him luck on this journey that will forever change his life.
